Prof. Karthikeya Kakaraparty is with the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Cybersecurity Engineering at Florida Polytechnic University. He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, where he researched under Prof. Ifana Mahbub's supervision. He earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of North Texas, where he completed a thesis-driven track. Prof. Kakaraparty demonstrated exceptional scholarly achievement throughout his academic journey, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA across both graduate degrees. He brings extensive experience in research and teaching, having mentored and instructed both graduate and undergraduate students while also leading hands-on RF laboratory sessions. As a proactive leader, he successfully petitioned for and founded the IEEE AP-S and MTT-S Joint Chapter at UT Dallas, where he served as Founding Chair from 2023 to 2024. Prof. Kakaraparty is also a dedicated contributor to the field, actively reviewing for prestigious journals, including IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Letters, IEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation, and IEEE Sensors Journal. He has served as a reviewer for than more than 50+ IEEE Journals and conference papers.
